Fostering
Foster Carers are an essential part of a Rescue

What is involved in becoming a foster carer
Do you:
-
have space to isolate a cat/ kittens away from other pets for a minimum of 10 days (bathroom, laundry, spare room, study, etc)?
-
have your own transport to pick up / take cats to any necessary vet appointments at our partner vets in Hallam, Officer, Pakenham and surrounds?
-
have the time to socialise your fosters for at least an hour a day?
-
have the patience to show a scaredy cat that not all humans are bad?
-
love cats and have love to give?
-
want to make a difference?
We are looking for foster carers to help us foster for adult cats and kittens. All vet costs will be covered by us and we’ll help where we can with food and litter. You just need to provide a safe space for them to land and be loved until adopted.

We work with you to find the appropriate foster cat for your home and provide a foster carers group for support.
